Anime. There isn't much good to remember about the anime. The manga is notable and popular, even, for people that have read it. Generally people that dislike some of Mashima's other work such as Fairy Tail don't find the same issues in Rave Master. Though Rave's anime was a very poor adaptation that ended up getting cancelled halfway through it.

The basic premise seems so simple and dull but RAVE Master truly shows that what is truly important isnt the premise but the execution, which, imo, it does it masterfully. The romance actually gets build up well, the ending is nice and imo (others maybe dont like it) a deserved well-done ending. Steve717.

Hi guys, I just started reading Rave Master recently! I'm really into it, up to chapter 143, but I've just run into the same problem I have had around 1 or 2 other times in this manga.. If anyone can redirect me to a better quality scan or even tell me why this seems to happen for a few chapters here and there, that would be much appreciated :)

Apparently the ending of Rave Master pissed people off so much that people were sending death threats to Mashima. That's why he made the epilogue chapter and vowed to never do that again, hence the lack of deaths in Fairy Tail. 2. that's what I am wondering myself too.. Guess he throw everything on Rave Master.

Rave Master, created by Hiro Mashima of Fairy Tail fame, was a somewhat prominent manga and anime series in the early/mid-2000s. However, Rave Master never quite achieved the same level of success as its widely loved counterpart -- and for good reason. While many critics and fans actually prefer Rave Master's manga to later parts of Fairy Tail, the censored dub of the anime was notoriously bad.

The animation doesn't hold up too well outside of the character designs and the scenery. CG is used badly, and the frame rate in action sequences is bad.
