Het Pieterpad is een wandelroute die dwars door Nederland loopt. De route bestaat uit meerdere etappes en loopt van Pieterburen in het noorden van het land tot de Sint Pietersberg in het zuiden van ons land. Het pad is 492 kilometer lang. De Pieterpad etappes 9, 10 en 11 lopen door de prachtige natuur van Noord- en Midden-Limburg.

The Pieterpad ( Pieter Path) is the most famous long distance walking route in the Netherlands. The trail runs for 492 kilometres (306 miles) from the far north of the country at the village of Pieter buren ( Hogeland region), to the far south at Mount Saint Peter (Sint- Pieter sberg) near the city of Maastricht.

Hiking the Pieterpad in the Netherlands a 500K Hiking Trail
Het Pieterpad in Limburg Het Limburgse deel van het Pieterpad is ruim een derde van het hele traject. Van de Pieterberg tot Mook leg je ongeveer 180 kilometer af. Dat klopt dan weer niet helemaal want tussendoor loop je door Duitsland, Gelderland en Brabant. Je komt telkens weer terug in Limburg, dus we rekenen het goed.
